Terms of Use

These service terms apply to the Tattoo AI iOS app and its tattoo creation, editing, and preview features (the “Service”), provided by the operator of Tattoo AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Eligibility and account access

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these terms to use Tattoo AI. Use of the app does not establish that you may legally receive a tattoo; local laws and professional requirements still apply.

The app creates an account without a traditional sign-up. Keep your device and session access secure. There is currently no email/password recovery system for this account. Losing or removing account credentials can prevent access to an existing library. Restoring an Apple subscription does not guarantee recovery of an old library.

2. Your photos, prompts, and designs

You retain the rights you already hold in the photos, prompts, descriptions, and other content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions required to upload and process that content, including permission from people shown in reference photos.

You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, transmit, process, and display your content and resulting images as necessary to fulfill your requests, maintain your library, secure the Service, and provide support. This includes processing by third-party AI services. It does not give us permission to publish your photos in advertising or claim ownership of them.

Subject to your rights in the inputs, these terms, and applicable law, you may use, save, and share generated designs, including with a tattoo artist. We do not claim ownership of your generated designs. We do not guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity, commercial clearance, or freedom from third-party rights. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions needed for your intended use.

3. AI results and tattoo previews

AI results may contain errors, unwanted details, inaccurate lettering, or content similar to other outputs. Results may vary between attempts. Review each design before relying on, sharing, or using it.

Tattoo AI is a creative design and visualization tool. It does not provide medical advice or professional tattooing services. Try On is a visual approximation and does not guarantee actual size, placement, appearance on skin, safety, healing, or long-term results. Consult a qualified tattoo professional before applying a permanent tattoo, and a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to violate laws, intellectual-property rights, privacy, or another person’s consent. In particular, do not:

• Submit images or other content you are not entitled to process, or misuse someone’s likeness.
• Create child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, threats, harassment, or unlawful hateful content.
• Use the Service for impersonation, fraud, or other harmful or unlawful activity.
• Bypass subscription checks, credit limits, security controls, or request limits, including by creating accounts to obtain duplicate allowances.
• Disrupt the Service or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or content.

Requests may be rejected or access restricted when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, address security risks, or comply with law.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Tattoo AI offers auto-renewing Pro subscriptions through Apple. Available plans, billing periods, localized prices, and applicable taxes are shown before purchase. Weekly and annual plans provide the same Pro capabilities under the current offer; their billing periods differ. We do not currently offer a free trial or free AI-generation allowance.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the next period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or through Apple subscription management.

Canceling normally stops the next renewal while access continues through the paid period, subject to Apple’s rules for refunds, revocations, and billing status. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s refund service, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable consumer law. Removing the app or deleting your Tattoo AI account does not cancel billing.

Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore an eligible subscription associated with your Apple Account. Restoring or reinstalling does not create additional credit allowances. Prices or subscription terms may change only in accordance with Apple’s purchase rules, required notices, and applicable law.

6. Credits and feature access

The current Pro offer includes 10 creation credits per seven-day usage cycle. The cycle follows the subscription’s original start time, not the calendar week. Both weekly and annual subscribers receive credits on this cycle; annual billing does not provide a full year’s credits at once.

• Each successful AI generation, edit, or regeneration currently uses one credit for one delivered image.
• Downloading, sharing, pinning, and Try On require active Pro access but use no creation credits.
• You may view previously saved tattoos after Pro expires, provided the account and content remain available. Exporting, editing, pinning, and Try On still require Pro.
• Unused credits do not roll over. Credits are a subscription usage allowance, have no cash value, and cannot be sold or transferred.
• A request may temporarily reserve a credit while processing. Failed requests release the reservation; requests not delivered within 24 hours return the reserved credit to its original usage cycle. This does not extend an expired cycle or refund the subscription payment.

The app shows the current offer and available balance. Future offers may have different allowances or operation costs, which must be disclosed before they apply to you. Paid access is subject to valid subscription verification and service availability.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information, reference photos, AI requests, results, and purchase information. Photos submitted to AI features are processed by third-party AI services. Photos used only as the background for the current Try On feature are processed on your device.

8. Availability and changes

The Service depends on internet access, app compatibility, and third-party processing. Generation and subscription verification may be delayed or temporarily unavailable. We may maintain, improve, or change features, but will honor applicable paid commitments, required notices, and consumer remedies. Save important images outside the app; it is not a guaranteed permanent archive.

9. Suspension and account deletion

We may proportionately restrict access for violations of these terms, fraud, security risks, or legal requirements. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

You may request account deletion in Settings → Delete Account, without an active subscription. Deletion is permanent once completed, subject to the limited retention explained in the Privacy Policy. It does not remove exported copies or immediately erase all third-party AI processing records. Cancel your Apple subscription separately if you do not want it to renew.

10. Responsibility and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that AI results will meet your expectations or be error-free. The application-license warranties and liability provisions are addressed in the Apple Standard EULA.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections, statutory guarantees, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or other conduct for which applicable law requires liability. You retain any right to pursue a remedy or bring a claim in a court available to you under mandatory local law.

11. Updates and contact

We may update these service terms. The effective date appears above. We will give notice of material changes and seek agreement where required by law; changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights.
